What baby steps have you taken so far?

What baby steps have you taken so far?

Time to take stock on our progress.
Dreams without efforts are not worth anything. Ideas without actions are useless. It is time to do reality check.
How am I progressing towards my goals? Have I initiated the baby steps and made significant progress towards my goals?
It is always better to check on the progress and even reward oneself.
• What do I plan to complete this month and this year?
• Am I proud of what I am doing or what I have done till date?
• What am I looking forward to in the coming months?
• Where do I want to be in next 5 or 10 years?
• What is one thing I am doing today that would make me proud?
• If not now, then when?
• Am I spending enough time doing?
• What problems am I working upon ?
• When did I fail and what did I learn?
• What chances am I taking?
• When did I reward myself for the progress made?
Make a simple, actionable checklist to achieve the goals. Overcome the fear of failure or fear of criticism. Small progress on consistent basis over long term is a good strategy.

Thinking through, writing and reviewing the response to the interview questions increases preparedness, boosts the confidence and reduces anxiety. It builds up a repertoire of stories for easy retrieval and you can now focus on delivery during the actual interview. Prepare well before the interview. Know the common interview questions. Learn the dos and don’ts. Write, practice and improve your specific response either by yourself or by feedback from a family member or a colleague or a teacher. You will gain mastery through practice.

As they say, if you want to be good at something, then you must practice to learn, and grow.
