Armour is a protective covering. It is used to prevent damage from being inflicted to an object by direct contact of weapons or projectiles.
You are an expert and have been hired to advise the military, to armour the planes. To help you, the military has provided you with historical data on the damaged planes. Bullet holes per square foot of plane body is as below.
Engine - 1.1
Fuselage - 1.7
Fuel System -1.5
Rest of Plane -1.8
Which area of the plane do you suggest to strengthen so that the plane is more safe?

To keep the plane safe, it would be advisable to protect the parts enlisted based on their priority for flight to remain as intact as possible. Therefore, engine, first and then the fuel system.
